In 2006, the founders of Solfinity - Waldemar Bajbak and Sebastian Lendzion - being young materials engineers and graduates of Warsaw University of Technology, took up the production of semiconductor monocrystals by the Czochralski process. They developed their own method for producing small PV modules up to 12 Wp and manufactured them on a small scale. The newly-formed Soltec company started its business with installations on yachts or RVs, small off-grids and supplying power to road lighting with batteries, charge controllers and photovoltaic modules. When Waldemar and Sebastian learned that precisely the same technology was being produced in China at a much lower cost, they modified and expanded the company’s operations.
Today, experience in the production of photovoltaic technology allows Solfinity to select the best PV equipment. It translates into the ability to evaluate the products, while years of installing PV systems help us better understand the technical and business challenges that installers face. The company gradually expanded its activities in the PV market, establishing partnerships with more manufacturers, engaging in large-scale projects or developing the R&D Department. In 2023, due to the expansion of its business profile, Soltec became Solfinity, directly referring to the infinite possibilities the Sun offers.
